”The BAU is the ideal international forum for presenting our highlights, as well as for promoting innovations and ideas for more sustainability“, says Uwe Nachstedt, who is on the management board of BWM Fassadensysteme together with Peter Reinwarth and Oliver Fröhlich. “At our fair stand, we aren’t just showing tried and tested products and systems, but also interesting new developments that meet the high demands of energy-efficient, secure and sustainable supporting structures”.
BWM has been a part of the fischer Group of Companies since March 14, which means that system solutions for modern façades are now offered from a single source. This time, the exhibitor is consequently placing the distance wall holder design ATK 601, based on the fischer long-shaft wall holder family SXRL in the foreground of their trade fair highlights in 2019.
More planning security with passive house-compatible wall bracket systems
The fixing specialists also have systems from their extensive range of BWM aluminium supporting structures (ATK), which ensure a high level of prefabrication, simple applications and fast assembly. These include new products that are specifically tailored for the problem areas of a VHF design and have approval extensions. For example, variable systems and systems with thermal decoupling will be presented, in which energy efficiency and sustainability will be paramount.
The BWM ATK 601 distance wall holder design for the all-over preinsulated façade or the renovation of WDVS systems with rear-ventilated curtain façade falls into this category. Another example is the BWM ZeLa clamp. Both tried and tested supporting structures were awarded the certificate “Passive House-Compatible Component” by the Passive House Institute as an independent certification authority.
The certificate contains all characteristics values (intermittent thermal bridge loss coefficients) and documents the unique position of the BWM supporting structures in comparison with conventional, standard market wall structures. Both supporting structures offer a high level of planning security and a wide variety of applications.
Problem-solving expertise for the technical implementation of efficient substructures
At BAU or in daily operations: BWM enjoys dialogues with architects, façade planners and processors. The fixing specialists can thus work closely with customers. “We’re looking forward to interacting with the users at our trade fair stand”, says BWM managing director Peter Reinwarth. “Together, we can address many issues, for example, the variety of design enabled by rear-ventilated curtain façades and how technical perfect solutions emerge from theory, concept, design and practical implementation – from expert planning and production to assembly. In addition, we look forward to meeting business partners who want to strike out in new directions with us and benefit from our expertise and our performance diversity”. BWM plans, develops and produces the correct wall bracket system for each VHF construction, either made of aluminium or other high-quality materials such as stainless steel. To date, over 400 BWM used products worldwide have been developed. A broad spectrum of sustainable and efficient constructions in various high-quality material combinations are thus available to architects and façade engineers. All services and products are certified according to CE 1090. The components consist of the same laminated basic material in a uniformly high level of material and colour quality.
Sales engineers specialised in the industry and fixing specialists at BWM are planning and developing project-related wall bracket systems. Upon customer request, the manufacturer will even supply the structural analysis verification for this, appropriate for the respective construction project. In-house production and the technical expertise from 40 years of product and system development put BWM in a position to supply pre-assemblies of system modules to the construction site on a project-specific basis. Specific customer requirements can thus be reacted to quickly and flexibly and the customer’s work at the construction site greatly facilitated.
“The BAU is the right international fair venue for us to bring our problem-solving expertise in the development, manufacture and delivery of high-quality substructure systems to the market and the world”, explains BWM managing director Oliver Fröhlich.
